What a terrible week....

Uni life on the 3rd week of was hectic.. I was in alot of pain after the medical treatment last week, so I didn't blog about how my studies were last week. Every week, we have random group tutorial for marketing management, therefore every week we had to stay back in uni for group discussion.. Therefore, even though my classes finished early, I had to stay back in uni for group discussion till like 4 to 4.30p.m.. Since the medical treatment on Friday, the next day I was sick till now.. haih.. am having sore throat, fever and flu plus my stomach is so painful yesterday.. i have been eating porridge for a week now.. Every time i see solid food, i feel like vomiting.

On the 4th week, life getting more hectic.. I was weak and sick, but I still attended classes and group discussion. Besides that, on Thursday when I went to see my marketing lecturer, there was something we need to change before the Friday presentation. Therefore, I called for an emergency group discussion but most of them couldn't attend. So I went to meet Cheryl my other group member to discussed with her since am doing the power point and she was doing the report. So I smsed all the others to email me their ideas while Cheryl and I discussed in 1 Utama, Starbucks. And besides that, nobody wanted to do presentation, so we got Kelly to present, but since there was a lot to present, I wanted another person to help her out, but nobody wanted to present, so I had to present. So I was so tired after the marketing management classes, and that day everything was going well for me.. When I finally came back at 5.30 pm, my head was in a severe pain, with fever and bad sore throat, but I had to go for prayers that night.

Yesterday, things were getting worst for me.. Am not writing what happened here, cos I don't want anyone to know about it.. but it was a very bad week to end it.. I didn't want to go anywhere yesterday and even today.. Let's hope everything goes back to normal for me now..

Am so tempting to just forget about my degree in KL and just go back to Penang to be with my family members, and go back there to finish my degree.. Now, I understand why people telling me that staying with your family is a luxury.. although sometimes they nagged and so on, but when things happen, you really want your parents to be around to help you out.

That's it for now.. Am cooking porridge while typing this post...

You know you're Malaysian if...

Is taken off the "If you're Malaysian say LAH" Facebook group :)
  1. You complain about the quality of the pirated DVD you just purchased. "What, RM10 for DVD5?! Aiyah, boss ... sound no good, cheaperlah ..."
  2. You're willing to consume sambal petai and durian and gladly suffer the bloating and wind-breaking incidents.
  3. You're exceedingly polite to the Mat Sallehs but you slag your own kind. "Hello, sir. Why don't you sit here, it's got the best view of the city skyline." But, "Aunty-ah, your table is over there next to the kitchen."
  4. You order Maggi goreng and fried chicken, complain about how oily the food is, and then proceed to finish it anyway.
  5. You love to talk about food. You're already thinking about what to have for dinner while eating lunch. "I'm stuffed. What shall we have for dinner?"
  6. You dive into a communal-style meal the moment the dish lands on the table only to hesitate at the last morsel of food on the serving dish. There are two possible explanations for this: the first is the pai seh (embarrassed) factor, while the other is the myth that the person who eats the last piece will be a spinster.
  7. You hit the accelerator the moment the first drop of rain hits your windshield. "Alamak, it's going to rain. Sure traffic jam one. I'd better drive faster."
  8. You seize the opportunity to make a U-turn anywhere ... especially where there is a sign telling you not to. Well, so long as the cops aren't in sight.
  9. You feel a burning desire to send text messages and even have the gall to give your friend a blow-by-blow account of the movie to your friend on the handphone - during the screening of the movie. "Okay, now that girl Lizzie is impersonating an Italian singer; she so doesn't look Italian ..."
  10. You forsake your loved ones for the all-important four letter-word: S-A-L-E. "Sorry, mum, I can't take you to Aunt Mary's because I have to go to MidValley before the crowd." You'r also more than happy to be part of the insane traffic jam that forms around malls during weekends and sale periods.
  11. Reality shows Akademi Fantasia and Malaysian Idol dictate your social life. "What, no TV at the mamak? Count me out - I'm staying home. Rinie needs my support."
  12. You pepper every sentence with lah. "No-lah, I can't see you today-lah. I have to study-lah. You know-lah, the prison warden aka mak is watching me like a hawk"
  13. You fail to function normally without your daily dose of teh tarik and nasi lemak.
  14. You have owned at least one Proton in your lifetime. Cheap, cheap. That is until you start to make enough dough to buy that Honda you've been salivating over.
  15. You slow down at an accident site to take down the car number plate, but won't step out of your car to help - the victim could be a robber!
  16. You'd rather park your car along the main road outside the mall, where there's a yellow line, rather than pay RM1 to park inside where there are adequate bays.
  17. You plead, bat your eyelashes and relate a sob story to the officer at the town council office to let you off the hook (or reduce the amount considerably) for the fine you incurred when you parked your car on the double line.
  18. You make an appointment for 10am and conveniently show up a half hour late - Malaysian time, what ...
  19. You pop open the wet tissue packet at the Chinese restaurant by squeezing the trapped air to the top of the packet before proceeding to smash your fist into it. The louder the pop the better.
  20. You greet your friend / neighbor / acquaintance on the street with "How are things?" or "Have you eaten?" or better yet, by stating the obvious: "Went to market ah?"
  21. Ramlee burger is the "piece de resistance" of your growing-up-years cuisine.
  22. You catch all major televised events at the mamak.
  23. You have roughly six meals a day (breakfast, mid-morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and supper). Then there's the snacking - keropok ikan, pisang goreng, muruku, jam tarts and the like.
  24. You get the whole family dressed to the nines, jump into the car and head for the minister's open house - and ask for styrofoam boxes and plastic bags to tar pau food.
  25. Your accent and language style vary according to the race of the person you are conversing with.
  26. You've got a friendly disposition. Smiles are abundant and your "Apa khabar?" is warm and sincere.
  27. You exclaim loudly how expensive everything is, even though the items may in fact be going for a steal. "Wah! So expensive, ah? Hak sei ngor (Scare me to death)!"
  28. You dig deep into your pockets to contribute to the latest appeal for donations in the newspapers.
  29. You "dis" our country all the time, but as soon as something good happens (like winning the Thomas Cup), you morph into a proud Malaysian.
  30. You never travel abroad without a bottle of chilli sauce, or sachets which you can sneak into restaurants.
  31. You're proud to be Malaysian - and you pass these jokes on to all your Malaysian friends!

Disappearing Reasons- My little brother own composition

Here is a song compose by my little brother.. Hope you guys like it.. Free to comment on it!!! LOL.. But be very nice OK!!! Yes, my little brother agrees that his singing is not that good.. but he will be taking singing lessons soon, AFTER SPM EXAMS!!! Encourage him instead!!! Muahahaha

Disappearing Reasons

I just want to know...why you fade away
I just want to know...how u felt...

I just want to know...what I did wrong...
I just want to know...what to do...

People ask me what happened to us...
I just couldn't find myself an answer...

You just disappeared...out of a sudden...
And reappeared with a new one soon after...

The day I met you was a special one...
It was the day ...everyone gathered...

It was held in the cage of no tomorrow...
It brings back some great memories...

So tell me all the reason ...that you left hanging..
So tell me why you left me all alone...

This is not the song...I'm suppose to be play
If you remember the songs... that I played for you

Now I just can't forget you
I just want the reasons
That you left me hanging outside
Outside in the dark

I just want to know...the mistakes I made
I just want to know...the way to get rid of it...

I just want to change to be a better self
To get rid of the self that you disliked...

So ...tell me all the reasons.that you left hanging..
So... tell me why you left me all alone...

Did I disappoint you saying that i love you
Even though I did not know u well at all

Now I just cannot forget you
I just want the reasons
That you left me hanging outside
Outside in the dark

I'm just lost on what to do right now
Tell me what I should do without you

It has been a long time... since we talked
Even when we meet... we just speak a simple hi-bye

I just can't forget the time... together on skates.
It was the best memory... I had with you.

People ask me what happened to everything.
I just couldn't find myself the reason.

So now can you tell me the reasons of.that disappearing act of yours.

My Back Is Still Freaking Painful!!!

Yesterday, I went to see the Chinese Doctor for my 4th treatment..It has been a mental suffering for me since my 1st treatment.. I cant imagined how did I managed to go through all this suffering?? The pain is so intense and unbearable, especially yesterday. Till now, while posting up my post, am still suffering with the pain. I did not post all how it went on my 3rd treatment, so will talk about it here. I had another 7 marks of needles on my back. Damn!! Acupotomy is really painful.. I always hate going to see the chinese doctor.. If I said, is fun going to see doctors, I would be totally insane.. I had already finished 30 packets of the chinese medication, which I had to drink 60 times. I can tell you that I drank so much of the medicine still my taste bud taste like medication.. LOL.. I don't even have appetite eating nowadays, as when I drink or eat, I feel like vomiting..

So anyways, yesterday is was the MOST painful treatment compared to the 2nd and 3rd treatment. I first one, was horrible and painful, yesterday was so FREAKING PAINFUL.. Although is only 3 marks, the part that he did was so Painful. I cried in this treatment. You can't blame me for that.. I bet if you were me, you might also cry.. Even when he pressed on the part of the pain, I was already in pain.. Imagine with the anesthetic, and moving the nerve, it was even worst. The mental suffering was bad enough, and plus the pain, it was much worst. AND THE WORST THING IS THAT THE DOCTOR TOLD ME NOT TO MOVE WHEN HE IS DOING THAT PART!!! That makes me even more scared!!! Is so bad till I was crying before he even started.. After he finished, he did the other parts of the marks. After the acupotomy, he then do the cupping therapy. It wasn't that painful BUT WHEN HE DID THAT PART WHERE I DID THE ACUPOTOMY, IT HURTS LIKE MAD!!! seriously speaking, the pain is still killing me, but is more bearable compare to yesterday..I was crying abit when I came back and when my mum were talking to my aunty about it.. It shows how pain it was!!! Thank god, is a Saturday today!!! I can't even pour my medication, my cousin have to come over to help me!!! Thank you cousin!!!

that's it for now about my treatment... LOL.. I hope this will be the last treatment, unless in 2 weeks time, the pain is still there, then I have to go back to see him again.. Hopefully, I will be better in 2 weeks time... Pray hard for me ya!!! LOL

Pictures of my back!!! LOL

The 2nd Week of Uni Life

Time seriously passing very fast. It's been 2 weeks since classes started. So how's classes so far? This week of classes was not that bad, but I was quite busy this week. Classes started at 8 am, thus I had to leave house by 6.50am, or I will be caught in a bad jammed. After classes, I stayed back in Uni to do enrollment and payment of the subjects, asking for advices on the subjects which i should take, and then also went out with my friend for lunch. Since classes starts so early, I am having abit of trouble paying attention.. I have not been having early classes like more than 3 terms already. Is all always been form 10am onwards. Anyways, I will be able to adapt it soon.

As I said before, life in year 3 is not easy, no matter which subjects you take. Therefore, I sometimes still don't understand why people is making a fuss out of it? I bet in all university in Malaysia or even university overseas students are all also finding it hard.. The only way is for us to put in more effort to study and do revision. Besides making fuss with the subjects, some were also complaining about lecturers? Comparing with Malaysia colleges or University with overseas university lecturers, the students in Malaysia should not have been making so much fuss and complaining about lecturer as they are already lucky enough. The lecturers here, have been conducting the lectures and helping students in whatever way they can, giving us notes and always patiently help students. In overseas, I bet those who are studying in overseas will tell me that the lecturers do not care or bother about the students, they just come in to the classes, finish the lectures and go off already, and it all depends on the students to revise. The students will only ask questions in tutorial. So those who don't put effort will have troubles. The lecturers will help those who help themselves. Am not so sure about the university lecturers in overseas, as I have not been studying in overseas before, but this is what I know from a few of my friends.. So if am wrong, please comment..

Back to uni, classes so far is ok. Lectures all started already, and is already getting tough.. Hahaha.. Really need to study already and pay attention, if not wait till exams time, sure guarantee die.. LOL.. I had talk about the marketing lecturer in my last post, as expected, he had high expectation on the students, and how he teach and think, but I will be able to adapt to it.. There is no choice anyways, so just try doing what he wants instead.. His class can be fun but stressful, but is ok... Critical classes, is not bad too. Anyways, since I had problems with my health, I will be careful with my health now.. Studies are important, but my health is more important.. I'll try my best to do well in my studies, but I will take care of my health.. So to those who are worried about me, I will be fine.. If my health is not good, I rather not do well in my exams than sacrificing my health.. So you guys, don't worry about me.. I will take care of my health..

On Thursday, I also went to see the Chinese doctor for my 3rd treatment.. It is so painful... Issshh.. Will post about it in my next post..

Hehe, am back in Penang again.. Came back with my mum after class on Friday, and going back on Monday with my mum.. We are driving back my car.. Yay!!! But after 2 weeks of driving waja, is not that bad after all.. Nice to drive also, but I still dislikes driving Waja to Sri Hartamas for dentist appointment..LOL

I am going for dinner now, so am stopping here.. Take care all!!!

The First Week of Uni Life

I went to uni on Tuesday since classes started already.. Little did I know that this week, we wont have critical issues in human resource classes as my lecturer will be away for the whole of this week. So ended up, I was having extra 2 days break on Wednesday and Thursday.. So since I was free, I went out with my cousin, Jean Ai to 1 Utama, since she is back for holidays.. We went shopping and we also went to Chilli's to talk for 2 hours while waiting for my mum to finish her duty in DMT. On Thursday, since my mum is also on duty, I decided to join her for lunch.. Jean Ai came along with me too..

On Friday, I went to my marketing management class at 8am.. Since it was the first lesson for that subject, my lecturer let us off early. Instead of 4 hours class, we only had 2 hours of class. And my lecturer said that those who came today, can skip class this coming Monday. He said that, he will still brief the other students that did not attend Friday class and also to let us think carefully whether we want to take this subject.. This is because he expect the best from the students.. There are reasons for it lah.. He talk about his life and his achievements in life.. If he did not show us evidences, we would not believe him.. But when he showed us all of the evidences, we had to believe in him. He is a top student last time and his sons are all high achievers.. He showed us his and his sons results.. He was from a very poor family and was an adopted son.. He worked in big companies and was paid quite high, but because of some reasons, which he told us, he went into teaching in HELP.. But soon, he will go back to work in other companies.. So because of that, he had high expectation of the students he taught.. So, he told us to think carefully.. And also because there are high failure rate too... He said that most fail is because the students do not listen to him... and don't do his work.. Anyways, I know some of them has already make quite a fuss and might not one to take this subject..

What about me? Am I brave enough to be with him for the next 14 weeks? Will I be able to cope??? Am not that sure myself too? What if I could not cope? What if I don't do well and it will thus affect my hon. degree?? Erm... But on the other hand, there are benefits for me to attend his class also.. He is a lecturer that will be able to show us the real work life and used real life examples to teach us. Since he is not a pure academics lecturer. He is also working as a marketer. His thinking is different from us.. I cant think of that word at the moment..Haha.. So if I go to his class, I will also learn new things from him.. The bad part is, he wont give us tips.. He said that lecturer who give tips actually harm the students.. LOL.. So that's why, I know some of them is already making fuss and not want to take this subjects..

So should I or should I not? I will be taking this subject no matter the lecturer is nice, good or vice versa. This is because, I feel that, is not the lecturer but ourself.. If the lecturer is good and we still don't study, the lecturer cant help us to pass also.. If the lecturer is not good, and if the student actually study, the student will still be able to pass. So is all depends on the students.. Besides that, I guess maybe is good to have him as the lecturer.. Although if he does not give tips or even if his expectation is high, it might actually do us good. He will be able to teach better and if we do and follow what he say, and be prepared for his class, then it will be ok.. If all his sons are all high achievers, i bet he is a good lecturer if we follow what he say instead of going against him.. I bet lecturers wont harm u unless you harm yourself my not studying and attending classes. Some lecturers could not care less about the students, and why there are still students passing the subjects, although there are also high failure rates? This is because the students that passed as put in effort.. So therefore, no matter how the lecturer is, i guess is all up to the students. That's what i think..

The only thing is that the marketing management subject contains of 50% exams and 50% assignment.. And is a group assignment.. And the bad thing is that we can't choose our own group.. The lecturer will randomly choose the groups.. Those who know me well, u know how I hate it so much.. I thought I had enough of problems in group work, and now I still have to face it.. But since am able to pull through all this while, I guess I will be alright this term too.. LOL.. Pray hard for me, my friends.. LOL

So anyways, I will be attending critical issues in human resources and marketing management this term.. Am only taking 2 subjects because their are the only few subjects offered. I don't want to take project this term, since I have another term to go.. Besides project, there are only finance paper offered.. So i decided to take 2 subjects this term, and another 3 next term. Since last term, I already finished 1 core paper.. Am so disappointed with my marks.. but then I know I did my best, since I was sick and did not attend classes after the 7 weeks.. the other 7 weeks, I was at home.. So practically I was doing it all by myself with the help of some of my friends.. So I really can't complaint, and am happy that I actually passed that paper..

Nevertheless, since my lecturer told us that we do not need to come for Monday class, I decided to come back to Penang.. LOL.. I know i know.. I just went back to KL 4 days ago, but I still want to come back home.. I guess i miss pg now.. Haha.. And I will be going back on Monday.. And after that on Friday after class, me and my mum will drive back to pg.. Haha.. I decided to come back this 2 weeks before I start getting busy with uni work.. LOL

Back to Uni Life

So today was the 1st day of term.. I mean yesterday uni started de, but it was for us to go and collect our timetable and so on.. But today, we were suppose to start class, but this whole week, critical issues is canceled because my lecturer is away. So anyway, since I did not know about it, I went to uni since I also need to collect my timetable and my result.. I left home at 7am and I arrived at about 7.40am.. After that talk to Rose, since she was already in class.. Then about 8.40am, we realized we do not have class, so Rose left and I hang around with Koge in Rotiman till 10am.. After that, I left to the main block to collect my result and also to buy parking coupons.. I was so annoyed because it ran out of stock.. Is the 2nd day and they already ran out of parking coupons.. So I had to ask from another student who was finding parking space.. Haha.. He sell me one and he can park my place.. LOL..

Tomorrow and Thursday I don't have classes.. Yay.. So Happy.. but Friday I to go to Uni for classes.

I went to the Curve with mum after my class today.. Then about 3pm we came home because I was so tired.. I slept from 3.15pm till 6.30pm.. Haha.. I couldn't sleep yesterday.. I turn off my lights at around 12.15am, and I only managed to sleep at 4am.. And at 6.15am, I had to wake up and get ready for class.. Then we went out for dinner with my aunty, Jean Ai and Clifford.. We went to Fatty Crab to eat..

Haha.. My back is still hurting.. And I have to go and see him again next Thursday.. I hate this.. Is so Painful.. Haih

Acupotomy

So today, I had to go and see the chinese doctor for 2nd checkup.. Although is improving but I still had to do another 6 today.. So altogether is already 22 spots of injection and moving of the nerves.. Good thing is that although it hurts, but you can see the improvement.. Hahaha

Click here for more information of what is acupotomy??

For those who do not want to read so much, here is a short article about it?

Acupotomy is a new type of non-invasive surgery using a small needle-scalpel invented by Professor Zhu Hanzhang around 30 years ago. The name comes from first five letters in "acupoint" and the last four in "anatomy". This new technique is used to treat chronic injuries, as well soft tissue disorders and the abnormal bony growths that cause acute pain. Combining techniques from acupuncture and surgery, acupotomy demands an extraordinarily perceptive three-dimensional understanding of human anatomy from its practitioners.

As a new system of medical science, acupotomology bridges the basic theories of traditional Chinese and modern Western medicine. A modern theory of channels and collaterals is a major part of acupotomology philosophy. Traditional Chinese medicine practitioners believe the human body contains a series of channels and collaterals, also called the "the third conductive passage" because it exists independent of the nervous and circulatory systems.

With acupomotology, modern science has finally found the three conductive systems exist.

And bad news is I have to go again for the next check up again in next 10 days time... And am going to have another few more injections... And also I had to drink another 20 times of Chinese Medicine again.. Haihhh...

Tomorrow got classes already... So am going off to bed.. And since my back still hurts.. LOL

DAMN!!!

Damn!!! Damn!!! Damn!!! I don't want to go back to KL to study.. Sob sob.. Am getting so damn lazy.. I still want holidays.. LOL.. Why time passes so damn fast?? I cant believed that 6 months had pass since I was admitted to hospital in March.. Although it had already been 6 months, the pain has not subsided yet.. So recently I went to a Chinese Doctor which was introduced by my dad's friend..

This Chinese Doctor is good.. And he is also curing my back too.. Some of you might not know this?? When I was in Standard 6, I felt from a chair when playing musical chair during my birthday.. My god, I had to suffer the pain for 9 years already.. So this Chinese Doctor from Beijing, but he worked in KL for 4 years, said that he will be able to cure my back too.. He used a different method.. Is not acupuncture, but another name of it.. "acupotomy" Is definitely not acupuncture, is a new method.. LOL.. He will press on the part which hurts and then he will mark the place.. After that, he will inject anesthetic on each mark.. I had 16 marks altogether from my back and hip, therefore he will inject 16 times of anesthetic. The needle is so big.. Arghhh.. Damn.. After that, he will use another big needle to move the nerves... IS SO DAMN PAINFUL!!! Although it HURTS, if it works, I would be very happy.. It will be like a miracle for me.. Can you imagined how long I had to suffer the pain?? Than for the pain and my breathing, it was connected from my back and also because of STRESSED!!! LOL... So people who is easily STRESSED like me, please be careful.. LOL...So I went to see him once on the 23/8/2007.. Damn!!! This coming monday, I had to see him again, and this time he had to do my neck for me too.. Am so not looking forward at all.. I wonder how much pain it going to be especially in the neck.. Sob sob.. Besides that, he gave me 10 packets of Chinese Medicine to eat for my lump... Yuck.. I hate it so much.. How can some people enjoy drinking it.. haha.. and 10 packets means I had to drink it 20 times.. But the medicine is working lah.. So I should be happy lah.. LOL..

Tuesday, Classes starting already.. I will only be taking 2 subjects next term.. But I still hate my timetable.. Hahaha.. I have classes every single day.. Damn it.. why can't they put it together so I don't need to go uni everyday.. waste petrol only.. LOL.. but compare to other terms, am happy with the timetable this time.. I cant wait to go back to meet all my friends, but am so damn lazy to do assignments and study for exams..

Isshh, I have to drive Waja to uni this 2 weeks or more.. Sob Sob.. This is because my car got into accident today.. DAMN!! I still like my own car.. But is ok.. I guess I should be OK with driving that car.. Is still a car anyways.. LOL.. is a matter of getting use to it.. I just hate driving big car to uni especially when you can't find parking.. LOL.. Thank god, most of my class is in the morning.. LOL.. But I have to wake up early.. ISSSHHH!!!

On the high note, I bought a few nice clothes and skirts this 2 days.. Mum took me to eat what i want to eat in Penang and also took me shopping before I go back to KL.. Haha.. Can you guys imagine?? Before I go back to KL, am already planning when I want to come back to Penang.. Am coming back to Penang 2 weeks time.. On the 15th of September after class.. YAY!!!!

Nuffnang is a word in Jafaikan which means "Real Good/Cool ... There is definitely no harm.. But is still all up to you guys of course.. LOL..

That's it for now.. Am very tired.. Have been shopping the whole day today.. LOL.. HAHA.. Oh ya!!! I went to CUT MY HAIR AGAIN!!! But is the same style like I had 2 months ago.. =).. 2 months and my hair grows so fast.. So decided to cut it short again before uni starts.. Muahahaha.. LOL
