Dilemma

Haih.. Am in a big dilemma at the moment.. I really don't know what to do... I hate growing up.. All the problems you have to encounter.. Now what next. After high school in Penang, when to SAM in Taylors then to Business degree in HELP.. I don't know whether i make a right choice, but I managed to finished it.. But I don't regret it i guess.. Life is not what you really expect.. Leaving your friends after studies is also tough sometimes.. whether we like it or not, separation is normal.. You will have to separate with your friends from high school, friends that you know in Matriculation, friends that you have been together for 3 to 4 years in a degree course.. Besides separation, we always need to learn to adapt and mix with people when we go into new courses or work.. Of course, we can choose to continue keeping in touch and going out to catch up... but is different because everyone have their own life and job to do.. So what is the next step that I would want to take?? I really don't know.. Am confused and lost.. Should I do this or should I do that.. Would I regret it? Would I be able to cope and adapt to it? Would I really want to do it?? There are so many questions I don't even know... Is confusing.. Even if you want to work, it that really the job that you want? Would you be able to get a job? How would the interview goes? Would I be able to get along with my colleagues? With the economic crisis, would I able to get a job? Hahaha.. Yes, Yes.. Am worried.. On the other hand, should I continue what i really wanted to do? Yes, when I was in my 2nd year in my degree, I got the idea that I would love to venture into education diploma/degree.. But now I finished my degree although I would really love to do it but sometimes am wondering whether it is what I really wanted to.. Hahaha.. Is confusing me a lot.. Life is tough.. To make decision is also tough..

So should I work or should I continue studying my early childhood course?? Please help me.. Hahaha.. I need opinions.. Although now am still waiting for my results which will only be out end of January or beginning of February. While waiting for my results, am planning to work part-time.. Will see how it goes.. :)..

I don't know whether you guys understand what am saying here.. Hahaha.. If you don't understand too bad then.. :)

That's it for now!!!

Christmas Trees Around the World

Before the ball drops in Times Square, the Big Apple turns on its holiday charm with the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center.

The Capitol Christmas tree in Washington, D.C., is decorated with 3,000 ornaments that are the handiwork of U.S. schoolchildren. Encircling evergreens in the 'Pathway of Peace' represent the 50 U.S. states.

The world's largest Christmas tree display rises up the slopes of Monte Ingino outside of Gubbio, in Italy's Umbria region. Composed of about 500 lights connected by 40,000 feet of wire, the 'tree' is a modern marvel for an ancient city

A Christmas tree befitting Tokyo's nighttime neon display is projected onto the exterior of the Grand Prince Hotel Akasaka.

Illuminating the Gothic facades of Prague's Old Town Square, and casting its glow over the manger display of the famous Christmas market, is a grand tree cut in the Sumava mountains in the southern Czech Republic .

Venice's Murano Island renowned throughout the world for its quality glasswork is home to the tallest glass tree in the world. Sculpted by master glass blower Simone Cenedese, the artistic Christmas tree is a modern reflection of the holiday season.

Moscow celebrates Christmas according to the Russian Orthodox calendar on Jan. 7. For weeks beforehand, the city is alive with festivities in anticipation of Father Frost's arrival on his magical troika with the Snow Maiden. He and his helper deliver gifts under the New Year tree, or yolka, which is traditionally a fir.

The largest Christmas tree in Europe (more than 230 feet tall) can be found in the Praça do Comércio in Lisbon, Portugal. Thousands of lights adorn the tree, adding to the special enchantment of the city during the holiday season.

'Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree': Even in its humblest attire, aglow beside a tiny chapel in Germany's Karwendel mountains, a Christmas tree is a wondrous sight.

Ooh la la Galeries Lafayette! In Paris, even the Christmas trees are chic. With its monumental, baroque dome, plus 10 stories of lights and high fashion, it's no surprise this show-stopping department store draws more visitors than the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower

In addition to the Vatican's heavenly evergreen, St. Peter's Square in Rome hosts a larger-than-life nativity scene in front of the obelisk.

The Christmas tree that greets revelers at the Puerta del Sol is dressed for a party. Madrid's two-week celebration makes millionaires along with merrymakers. On Dec. 22, a lucky citizen will win El Gordo (the fat one), the world's biggest lottery.

A token of gratitude for Britain's aid during World War II, the Christmas tree in London's Trafalgar Square has been the annual gift of the people of Norway since 1947.

Drink a glass of gluhwein from the holiday market at the Romer, Frankfurt's city hall, since 1405 and enjoy a taste of Christmas past.

Against a backdrop of tall, shadowy firs, a rainbow trio of Christmas trees lights up the night (location unknown).

There is one Christmas Carol that has always baffled me. What in the world do leaping lords, French hens, swimming swans, and especially the partridge, that won't come out of the pear tree, have to do with Christmas? This week, I found out.

From 1558 until 1829, Roman Catholics in England were not permitted to practice their faith openly. Someone during that era wrote this carol as a catechism song for young Catholics. It has two levels of meaning: the surface meaning plus a hidden meaning known only to members of their church. Each element in the carol has a code word for a religious reality that the children could remember.

-The partridge in a pear tree was Jesus Christ.

-Two turtledoves were the Old and New Testaments.

-Three French hens stood for faith, hope, and love.

-The four calling birds were the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

-The five golden rings recalled the Torah or Law, the first five books of the Old Testament.

-The six geese a-laying stood for the six days of creation.

-Seven swans a-swimming represented the sevenfold gifts of the Holy Spirit--Prophesy, Serving, Teaching, Exhortation, Contribution, Leadership, and Mercy.

-The eight maids a-milking were the eight beatitudes.

-Nine ladies dancing were the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit--Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control.

-The ten lords a-leaping were the Ten Commandments.

-The eleven pipers piping stood for the eleven faithful disciples.

-The twelve drummers drumming symbolized the twelve points of belief in the Apostles' Creed.

So there is your history for today. This knowledge was shared with me, and I found it interesting and enlightening, and now I know how that strange song became a Christmas Carol...so pass it on if you wish.

Merry (Twelve Days of) Christmas Everyone

CHRISTMAS AT ARLINGTON CEMETERY

I wonder why the press hasn't enlightened the public about it?

Rest easy, sleep well my brothers.

Peace, Peace, and Farewell...

Readers may be interested to know that these wreaths -- some 5,000 -- are donated by the Worcester Wreath Co. of Harrington, Maine. The owner, Merrill Worcester, not only provides the wreaths, but covers the trucking expense as well. He's done this since 1992. A wonderful guy. Also, most years, groups of Maine school kids combine an educational trip to DC with this event to help out. Making this even more remarkable is the fact that Harrington is in one the poorest parts of the state.

Kidding kidding.. :P

You are My Sunshine, My only Sunshine' .....................
You can't afford not to read this!

Like any good mother, when Karen found out that another baby was on the way, she did what she could to help her 3-year-old son, Michael, prepare for a new sibling.

They found out that the new baby was going be a girl, and day after
day, night after night, Michael sang to his sister in mommy's tummy.

He was building a bond of love with his little sister before he even
met her.

The pregnancy progressed normally for Karen, an active member of the Panther Creek United Methodist Church in Morristown, Tennessee.

In time, the labor pains came. Soon it was every five minutes, every
three, every minute. But serious complications arose during delivery and Karen found herself in hours of labor.

Would a C-section be required? Finally, after a long struggle,
Michael's little sister was born.
But she was in very serious condition.

With a siren howling in the night, the ambulance rushed the infant to
the neonatal intensive care unit at St. Mary's Hospital, Knoxville, Tennessee. The days inched by. The little girl got worse. The pediatrician had to tell the parents there is very little hope. Be prepared for the worst.

Karen and her husband contacted a local cemetery about a burial plot.

They had fixed up a special room in their house for their new baby but now they found themselves having to plan for a funeral. Michael, however, kept begging his parents to let him see his sister. I want to sing to her, he kept saying.

Week two in intensive care looked as if a funeral would come before
the week was over.

Michael kept nagging about singing to his sister, but kids are never
allowed in Intensive Care. Karen decided to take Michael whether they liked it or not.

If he didn't see his sister right then, he may never see her alive.
She dressed him in an oversized scrub suit and marched him into ICU. He looked like a walking laundry basket.

The head nurse recognized him as a child and bellowed, 'Get that kid
out of here now. No children are allowed.'

The mother rose up strong in Karen, and the usually mild-mannered
lady glared steel-eyed right into the head nurse's face, her lips a
firm line. 'He is not leaving until he sings to his sister' she
stated.

Then Karen towed Michael to his sister's bedside.

He gazed at the tiny infant losing the battle to live. After a moment,
he began to sing.

In the pure-hearted voice of a 3-year-old, Michael sang:

'You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are gray.' Instantly the baby girl seemed to respond. The pulse rate began to calm down and become steady.

'Keep on singing, Michael,' encouraged Karen with tears in her eyes.

'You never know, dear, how much I love you, please don't take my
sunshine away.'

As Michael sang to his sister, the baby's ragged, strained breathing
became as smooth as a kitten's purr 'Keep on singing, sweetheart.'

'The other night, dear, as I lay sleeping, I dreamed I held you in my
arms'.

Michael's little sister began to relax as rest, healing rest, seemed
to sweep over her.

'Keep on singing, Michael.' Tears had now conquered the face of the
bossy head nurse. Karen glowed.

'You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. Please don't take my sunshine away...'

The next day... the very next day, the little girl was well enough to
go home.

Woman's Day Magazine called it "The Miracle of a Brother's Song."
The medical staff just called it a miracle. Karen called it a miracle
of God's love.

NEVER GIVE UP ON THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE. LOVE IS SO INCREDIBLY POWERFUL.

Life is good.

A Touching Story

This is a touching story that I would like to share with you guys...

Can I Borrow $25?

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his
5-year old son waiting for him at the door.

SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'

DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.

SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'

DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the
man said angrily.

SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'

DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.'

SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.

SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?'

The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you
can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then
you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about
why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such
childish frivolities.'

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.

The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little
boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some
money?

After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think:

Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and
he really didn't ask for money very often The man went to the door of
the little boy's room and opened the door.

'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.

'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.

'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the
man. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you.
Here's the $25 you asked for.'

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he
yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up
bills.

The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.

The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.

'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled..

'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.

'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come
home early tomorrow. I would like to

have dinner with you.'

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he
begged for his forgiveness.

It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We
should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some
time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do
remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love.

If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily
replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave
behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

My Uni Semester Updates..

Hi guys,

Sorry for a really lack of post this few weeks.. Since semester starts, I have been busy.. Most of the days even when I don't have classes, I had to come to uni for group discussion.. Talking about uni?? Am seriously scared for this term.. The fear of not doing well in this semester is really getting into me.. The fear of doing my thesis and the lack of time, the fear of screwing up my other core subjects.. I know I know, I have been passing through all my subjects since Year 1.. But then, this is the last term. If I dont pass through one subject I had to wait for the resit that means I won't graduate on time.. Touch wood.. The fear of not scoring also is getting into me.. This is because I know I had a chance to get my 2nd Upper for my Hons degree and I really want to do well and get that.. But I guess I should just do my best and stop thinking about all this.. if not the more I think the more I mite very scared and ended up not doing well.. Thesis is so difficult for me.. I don't know why.. I never thought assignments can scare me so much.. Haha.. Funny rite.. I dont seem to have any problem starting my other assignments but seriously is not the case of my thesis.. However, no matter what and how, I will make sure I passed this term and graduate.. So Pray for me ya.. :)

If your asking whether am still feeling emotional.. I cannot deny that I still do.. Maybe i still seriously need more time.. Thank god, sometimes am just too busy till I dont have time to think much.. But then I just can't sleep at night... Am having difficulties sleeping even though am very tired and exhausted.. Am also losing my appetite... Hoepfully things will get normal soon.. Plus, my sickness that I had suffered last year is also reoccuring last few days ago.. Although before the recent one, I had a few reoccurent but it wasn't that bad compared to the recent ones.. Jean Ai or any of my cousin's reading this, please do not let anyone know even ur mum.. Thanks.. But now am feeling better..

I have been going out once in a while too after classes.. Going Pasar Ramadan with friends and buka puasa together.. It was fun..

I guess I better stop now.. Oh ya.. when i always start doing my thesis... There is always problems.. LOL.. First was my laptop crash and 2 days back, my internet connection not working.. Haih... Wish me luck that I will be able to go thru and finished my thesis...

I am stopping now.. Am in the library now updating my blog.. Back to work before going back soon.. Take care guys...

How I Life My Life!!!

Haha.. Not sure whether this is true.. U guys can judge whether u think is true or not.. :)

How You Life Your Life

How You Life Your Life

You have a good sense of self control and hate to show weakness.

You're laid back and chill, but sometimes you care too much about what others think.

You tend to have one best friend you hang with, as opposed to many acquaintances.

Some of your past dreams have disappointed you, but you don't let it get you down.

Pictures of Love

I have been quite emotional this few days to weeks.. Therefore, I don't really feel like updating my blog. However, this email I received from my dad really make me feel like sharing...

The picture is telling the suffering of a poor bird shocked with his mate's fatal injury

Here his mate is injured and the condition is very appalling

Here he brings her food and attend her with love and compassion

Brings her food but shocked with her death and try to move her

He is aware that his sweetheart is dead and will not come to him again. He cries with adoring love

Stands beside her and scream, saddened by her death

Finally aware that she would not return to him, stands beside her body with sadness and sorrow

Photos of two birds said to have pictured in the Republic of Ukraine where this bird is interested to quickly to save his mate. Millions of people cry after watching this picture in America and Europe.
It is said that the photographer sold these pictures for a nominal price to the most famous newspaper in France. And all the copies of that newspaper were sold out on the day of publishing these pictures

This picture actually did make me feel more emotional...Death is unpredictable and you never know when your beloved ones will passed away.. When the time comes, it is really unbearable..

Hope you enjoy this story and picture, which I just wanted to share with all of you..
Credit to AbuNawaf.com for the pictures.
